Bringing Health into the 21st Century

Adam Bosworth [Founder, President & CEO, Keas] Abstract: This talk will discuss some of the severe challenges that have hurt our ability to have a healthy people at a sane cost and how, with the intelligent help of the audience, we can turn this around. It will first, quickly, detail how broken the current system is and then, discuss and demo an on-demand platform that will let every intelligent health expert build custom tools for people to learn about and improve their health. Just as Google created a marketplace that brought providers of goods and services together with those who wanted them and providers of information together with those who want it, so Keas will bring together the expertise of those in health and those who need that expertise, but without requiring the experts to install software, be programmers, or even have an online site. Biography: Adam Bosworth is a technology leader and innovator who was instrumental in building numerous technology products, including Google Health, Microsoft Access, Microsoft Internet Explorer and BEA WebLogic Integration and Workshop. After facing serious family challenges with the health care system, Adam decided to transition from 25 years of building databases and software to apply this knowledge and pursue his passion for helping people become healthy and well.
