This event brings together key national, state, and local leaders to provide insight into the HIT provisions within the American Recovery And Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) —- specifically how ARRA is expected to accelerate the adoption of Electronic Health Records (EHRs), Health Information Exchanges (HIEs), and other technologies in physician offices, hospitals and other care settings. Also represented is the role and views of additional key stakeholders including public health, employers, and payors.
