I need an idea what on what to do my project on for legal and ethical issues in Health Information Technology.?
It has to be a tool you would use at a health care facility. The example she gave was the release of information process. Doing a power point and a handout of this. I just can’t think of any ideas on what to do mine on. Anyone got any ideas?

I would suggest using E-Health tools. For example, the electronic scale that allows a patient to automatically upload their weight to their PHR / EMR. The ethical and legal comes in as an aspect of trusting the “foreign” biomedical device in a non-controlled environment. This could be a major issue for someone that has Congestive Heart Failure.
