Two year non-transfer degree Program for individuals interested in working in the health care field, but not interested in clinical or patient care. One of the few health-related occupations in which there is little or no direct contact with patients Students will have a broad knowledge of medical office areas including records management, customer service, accounting, etc. Coursework focuses on the medical office setting. Students will be highly employable because of a wide array of skills gained in the program. Career field for those passionate about accuracy and details Why Barton? Experienced and caring instructors Instructors are attentive to students needs and goals 1 on 1 small classes Flexibility of course offerings can accommodate students work and life schedules: online, arranged, hybrid, classroom, etc. Offer simulated medical transcription and medical coding courses that allow students to learn as if they were in a real world setting. Exposed to live workforce settings through field trips and guest speakers from industry. Instructors have connections with regional employers to help students get jobs.
